Notes for Jeanette Rae Martin:Jeanette was a natural runner during her high school days in Rock Lake.She ran in the short distant sprints events and broke records and won several sprint titles at the statelevel competition.All of her high school records remain unbroken.She was invited to join a state team of high school runners selected throughout North Dakota, and traveled to Europe and competed in track meets.She graduated from Moorhead State University in Moorhead, MN where she met her spouse, Clay Aanerud.After graduating from college, Jeanette taught in the elementary grades for twelve years.She then worked five years as Adjuct Assistant Professor for Saint Mary's University of MN, teaching Curriculum Design for teachers working towards their Master's Degree.In 2005, Jeanette accepted a new job as Principal for the Elk River School District.Some of Jeanette's interests include quilting, scrap booking, and gardening.
