I am researching the Doré family that originated in Des Versailles, Ile-de-France, France; where Louis Doré married Anne Sylvestre.Their son, Louis was sent to Canada with the Berry Regiment to fight in the French/Indian War.He married Catherine ROUSSEL (daughter of Pierre and M. Catherine MORANT or Francoise MIRAULT) in St. Sulpice, Quebec on Oct. 20, 1760.They had at least one child, Antoine. Antoine married Josephete CEDILOT/SEDILOT (daughter of Gabriel and Clemence MIVILLE) in St-Joseph de Soulanges, les Cedres on October 15, 1787.They had at least one child, Louis. Louis married Emmelie LALONDE (daughter of Luc and Marie Angelique DUBOIS) in St. Polycarpe, Quebec on Oct. 28, 1828.They had at least one child, Louis born on Aug. 16, 1829 in St. Polycarpe. Louis married Marie HENAULT dit DESCHAMPS (daughter of Joseph Henault dit Deschamps and Maria Lysa WELLEN) on Oct. 26, 1857 in Curran, Ontario.They had at least eight children, including:Marie, Pierre (b: April, 1863 in St. Andrews West, Stormont, Ontario), Dominique (b: June 1875), Paul Etienne (b: Oct. 1878), Adee Josephine (b: Nov. 1880), Helene Elizabeth (b:June 1881), and Joseph Severe. Marie married Alphone Bonneau on Nov. 9, 1880.They had at least 8 children. Pierre married Felanise AMELOT (daughter of Joseph and Luce DUPUIS) on Nov. 11, 1884 in Stoney Point, Essex, Ontario.They had nine children, including: Oliver (b: Apr. 1887), Aline (b: Mar. 1890), Joseph (Mar. 1892), William (Aug. 1897), Justine (b: Apr. 1899), Alphonse (b: Apr. 1901), Philanise (b: Feb. 1906), and Charles (b: 19808).There also was a child born between 1901 and 1905 but no other information has been verified.Oliver through Justine were born in Paulding, Ohio.Alphonse through Charles were born in the Alpena, Michigan area.
