It all started with Johann Casper Neun with his arrival in Phildephia in 1737 on the ship bilander Townsend. He settled near Reading, Pa. One of his children was son Sylvester Nine, Sylvester's son Christian, Christian's son Johann, and his son John (Jr.)I am the grandson of John Nine who settled in Canaan Valley, Tucker County, WV. My father Ezra Calvin Nines and mother, Ella White Nines lived in Cumberland, Md during late 1930's until 1960's. Children include Theodore (Ted), Harry, Bruce, John, Carl, and Eugene. |
