The Jack Ninness Family Home Page

I am researching information about William Thomas Ninness, who came from Old England as a young man. He settled in and around Carmi and Norris city, White County Ill. He had two wives one was a full blood Indian named Mary Ann Street, they had four children, Thomas,William, Bill, Mollie,and George Richard Ninness. Mollie married a Jess Albert and george married a Julia Etta English. William Thomas Ninness died abt. 1909? and was burried in the Kuykendall Cemetary, Carmi Ill. His second wife was Edith A. Baker and they had more children.
I don"t know much about the family but will share what I have.
My Mother says the first born son was always named William, until I came along and my father said there were to many Williams, so they named me Marathon Jack Ninness.
