I am researching my family tree which has extensive connections to Elk County, Pennsylvania. Any additional information would be appreciated and I am willing to share the information that I have.

My 3rd great-grandparents, Jacob Nist and Elizabeth Minnick came from Bavaria to Kentucky in the early 1830's and later moved to St. Marys, Pennsylvania.

My great-grandfather, Martin Thompson came from Denmark to Pennsylvania where he met and married Mary Kleisath in 1884 in Kane, Pennsylvania. Mary's parents, my 2nd great-grandparents, Johannes Kleisath (born in 1853 in Germany) and Mary Steinhaur (born in 1844 in Pennsylvania) were married in 1861 in Rasselas, Pennsylvania.

My great-grandparents, Peter Murray (born in 1846 in Ireland) and Margaret Mullen (born in 1861 in Ireland) came to Pennsylvania between 1879 and 1882 with their three oldest children.
