Col. William Bion Mason, of Company B of the 77th Ohio Volunteer Infantry is the grandson of William Bond Mason and Susanna (Coburn) Mason.
Age:37 Enlisted:Oct 11, 1861 3 yrs of service Promoted to Major from Captain Company B. Aug 26, 1862; the Col Apr 18, 1863 (the same day that Col. Jesse Hildebrand died); mustered out Dec 31, 1864, on expiration of term.
