Ginger Wince sent me a this picture on April 22, 2003. The head stone was found by Kenneth Earl Parks, GG-Grandson of Salmon and Sophronia. He found it laying in the dirt in a small farm cemetery in Scotland County,MO. The cemetery wasn't taken care of and the grass was high. He said he almost tripped over it or he never would have found it. There was another infant Parke there with no first name.

Kenneth Earl Parks is the s/o Alvin and Hazel Turrill Parks.
UPDATE: Oct. 31, 2004 - Sophronia and Juliette are both buried in Heald Cemetery according to Harold Myers (descendent of Austin Park) who recently visited the cemetery and saw both stones. (Source: M. Buck)-----I'm wondering if this COULD be any of the following babies: 1. Martha Park, d/o Ruel & Elizabeth. She was born and died the same day. ---- 2. Luther Parks, s/o William and Mary (McNeal) Park. He was born Feb. 17, 1854 in Missouri (Possibly Scotland Co.), died Mar. 6, 1854. ---- 3. Levi Edgar Parks, s/o William and Mary (McNeal) Park. He was born June 17, 1858, died Jan. 12, 1859. --- 4. Vesta Parks, d/o William and Mary (McNeal) Park. She was born Apr. 27, 1860 in Iowa (Possibly Van Buren Co.), died Oct. 11, 1860.
