Born in Adams Twp., Wash. Co., Ohio on May 4, 1854, Died in Marietta, Ohio on Feb. 17, 1929. Dau. of William Bion & Lucetta (Sprague) Mason. She graduated from MHS, 1874, and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Also a member of the Colonial Dames, DAR, Pioneer Society, and Centennial Society. She was greatly interested in genealogical research, and gathered considerable data on the MASON family. She wrote the book, GENEALOGY HISTORY - THE FAMILY OF HUGH MASON - WILLIAM MASON AND ALLIED FAMILIES in 1911. After her death it was published and placed in several libraries & historical societies.
