Buried Heald Cemetery, Scotland Co., Missouri. He was born on Feb. 17, 1854 in Missouri, the son of William M. Parke and Mary M. McNeal, both born in Washington County, Ohio. Headstone reads: "LUTHER A. son of Wm. & M. Parke Died Mar. 6, 1854 Aged 17D's (Most of the bottom part of the stone was unreadable from the photo). This photo was taken and owned by Harold Myers, GGG Grandson of Ruel Parke, who was an uncle of Luther's father. Harold also gives this information about Luther's headstone: "It is really weathered and I had to dig it up out of the ground, almost grown over in dirt & weeds."
