* The Cunningham/Niven Family Home Page*

Updated September 6, 2000

Hi there everybody. I am new at this Family Tree stuff so any help would be welcome.
My family is a bit confusing as my father was adopted. His birth mother, now deceased, was called Kathleen Ball. So I am researching that side. My mother's side were Hurst/Watson and from Nelson, Lancashire. The Hursts go back to the 1800's.

I am also researching my husband's side which were Bosher/Smith from Middlesbrough and Niven/Cartali which have contacts in Scotland/Greece and Turkey.

As I say, I have only just started and any suggestions would be a great help. At the moment I am looking through 1881 and 1891 census at the local Family History Centre.

Please email me if you feel you can add something to my tree or my tree may add something to yours.

One last thing - does anybody out there know what Int from Mort+ means. It was the short form on an 1881 census under occupation and I have no idea what it could be.

Thanks,

Louise Niven
