I am searching for any decendants of my great-grandfather PATRICK NIXON,SR. born in IRELAND in 1799. He married MARY MORGAN and they had sons PATRICK,JR. who married BRIDGET KENNEDY 10/31/1858, WILLIAM who married MARY ANNE EAGAN and after her death he married MARY LYSETT, NICHOLAS AUGUSTINE (my grandfather)who married MARY POWDERLY in 1863 or 1864 and MARY ANN who married MATTHEW KELLEY. I believe MARY ANN and MATTHEW KELLEY married in Ireland and had three children born there before coming to America and had several more children after arriving here. I am not sure whether PATRICK or WILLIAM married in Ireland or in America. PARTICK,SR. and his sons and daughter were all born in IRELAND. Daughter,MARY ANN, was baptized in GARRISTOWN, IRELAND (approx 15 miles north of Dublin) in 1838. The sponsors were BARTLE ENNIS and BESS MORGAN NICHOLAS A NIXON and MARY POWDERLY, my grandparents, came to the United States in 1860. I believe NICHOLAS' sister and brothers also came here in or around the same time. Mary Powderly's father's name was Matthew and her mother's maiden name was Ann SHEEHAN. There is a Margaret Powderly buried in the same plot as Mary but Margaret's death certificate shows the same father's name as Matthew "BUT" it shows her mothers name as Ann WALSH. I do not know anything about Margaret or her relationship to Mary. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I would be happy to share the information I have.
