Ole Hansen BREDEN (son of Hans NEPRUD and Brit HAUGEN)¹¹ was born 04 Apr 1854 in Sel, NORWAY, immigrated 1905 at age 47 or 51, and died 1928 in B. Zion Cem. Leonard, ND. He married (2) Aslaug Homme J KITTLESON on Bef. 1887 in NEPRUD BREDEN, NORWAY.

"Ola HANSEN traveled out to help build tje railroad. There he met his Aslaug, who was from Hallingdal.With her they had six children. They were also tenant farmers on the farm NEPRUD, but those were hard times. It was a toil with poverty, and many left for America. Ola HANSEN and the oldest son, Hans traveled first, probably to relatives. Two years later they had earned so much money that the rest of the family could emigrate. They traveled to America probably about 1903-1905. When Ola HANSEN traveled out he took the name BREDEN."
