Thanks Cuz, The reason #3 that I don't think Raymond & Angelique had a 1st son "Jacques b.1-1-1721" is that Raymond's first wife M-Charlotte Charron was bur'd Dec 20, 1720 which would've been only about 32 days before this "Jacques" was born.
However, this has lead me to something in PRDH that I found SO interesting!
Doc.#184749 marriage Record dated Nov 9, 1744 Vercheres between Pierre Rivet s/o Pierre Rivet & M-Catherine Morrissau to M-Angelique Vegeard d/o Raymond Vegeard Labonte & M-Angelique Pinault shows the Priest was Sartelon of Missionaire De St Sulpice and witnesses:
Nicolas Rivet of Verchers, Uncle of the groom
Charles Chognard " ,stepfather of the bride (M-Angelique md him after the death of Raymond. This Chas Chognard was the brother of the Francois Chognard who was md to Raymond's First wife's sister Catherine) and the last witness named (are you ready for this?) was LOUIS VEGEARD LABONTE of Vercheres UNCLE OF THE BRIDE. Do you realize what that means? Raymond must have had a brother in Quebec! How exciting is that!
