JOHN M. BOVEE born 25 October 1853, died 2 April 1940. Came from Illinois to Burt County, NE in 1872, in a covered wagon. Clara Hancock born 27 Jan 1862, died 25 February 1955. She came with her parents from Pennsylvania in 1877. They were married in 1879, and lived south of Craig, Burt Co., Nebraska. Mr. Bovee was a prominent farmer and businessman. He built a new home in Craig where they spent the rest of their lives. Their daughter Mabel makes it her home. Children: Elmer, Lee, Walter and Mabel.
