The Genealogical Magazine of New Jersey, Vol. 51, #1, Jan 1976, p. 5-10:
mentioned as deceased in an abstract dated 12 Dec 1688. He was given a
power of attorney by Walter Humphries, 15 Aug 1684, as a genereal agent
in NJ, and had arrived in Burlington by April of that year and obtained
a servey of 3 acres of meadow on the South Branch of Northampton River
for Humphries.

Comly Family in America, George Norwood Comly, 1939, p. 805: They must
have come to this country in 1682, very shortly after their marriage,
because their son Enoch was born 26 Nov 1682 at Burlington, NJ. THey
evidently settled on the Northampton River, Burlington Co., for NJ Arch,
Vol XXI, p. 363, has: "2nd month (April) 1684, Walter Humphries sold
land to Enoch Core. Return of survey of 3 acres of meadow on the South
branch of the Northampton River, adjoining John Paine." August 15, 1684,
"Power of Attorney, Walter Humphries alias Powell of Painswick, Co. of
Gloucester, England, to his son-in-law Enoch Core, and son Joshua
Humphries alias Powell, as general agents in NJ." [NJ Acrh. XXI, p. 249]
