The history of the Nostrome family will include such surnames as Loschiavo, Mehlmauer, Anselmo, Nerton and Tehan as the most common. The history on the Nostrome and Loschiavo surnames have been difficuly to trace beyond 1900. Loschiavo had its origins Selena, Italy. The Nostrome surname has been difficult in that all that we know is that Charles Nostrome came to the United states when he was 13 years old for Italy. The best that we can tell is from the Naples area, near the turn of the century.
