From a Cambridgeshire newspaper article dated Dec. 1961:
"Cambs. Family's Record"
Not many families can boast of the proud record of having six members whose combined age is 471 years. This distinction belongs to the Pamment family who were all born in Isleham and still live in Cambridge and the outlying districts.
The oldest, Frederick, is 86 and lives in Chippenham, while the next in order of seniority is Benjamin, who is 83 and lives in Pemberton Terrace, Cambridge.
Then, with 80 years to her credit, comes Elizabeth, whose home is in Maids Causeway, Cambridge.James Pamment, who lives at Chippenham, is another three years behind her at 77, and he is followed by Hannah Fuller (75) and Florence Parr (70) who both live in Snailwell.Benjamin and James were both agricultural labourers before they retired, but the oldest, Frederick, was a chauffeur.
My picture, taken at a recent family reunion shows (left to right) Frederick, Benjamin, Elizabeth Payne, James, Hannah Fuller and Florence Parr.
Their father worked at Isleham as a horse keeper.
