The Sandra Anyzeski Nuhn Family Home Page

I am researching the George BROWN family that settled in the Maromas section of Middletown, Middlesex County, CT. George was born ca.1818, England. He married Angel BECK or BUCK, born ca.1826, Nova Scotia. They had four children: Mary Ann, born 1851; Matilda G., born 1853; Charles Nathaniel, born 23 October 1855, Middletown; and Clara P., born 2 April 1858, Middletown. I am trying to find out what happened to the three sisters and trying to find out more about Angel and her childhood.

I am also researching the family names Anyzeski, Anyzewski,Anetsky of Poland. This family settled in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and California.

Also researching the family name of NUHN. In particular, Jacob Nuhn, b. 24 Dec.1814 in Neideraula, Kassel, Germany. Jacob married Christina SCHADE, b. 2 March 1822, same place. Christina had two brothers named Jacob and John who lived in Chicago, IL in 1897. Jacob and Christina had five children: Johann Heinrich, b. 5 April 1843; Conrad, b. 12 January 1844; Johan Jacob, b. 5 March 1850; and George, b. ca.1853 and Martha, both of whom were born in Jersey City, NJ.
