Charles (Carl) Gustof Nyborg and Amalia Josefina Holmberg were married around the year 1880 in Sweden. In 1888, they came to the U.S., and settled in New Britain, CT. They became U.S. citizens in 1894. Charles was born in Westergotland, and Amalia was born in Smaland. They had eight children, six of which survived to adulthood.
