I have been researching my maternal line and have two main surnames. They are PEMBERTON and RICHARDSON.

JOHN WILLIAM PEMBERTON married LUCY GOODHEAD in August 1881 in Nottingham. They emigrated to South Africa shortly after and produced a large family of about seven children, one of whom was OSCAR.

ANDREW HILL RICHARDSON married ELIZABETH STEWART DUFF in June 1877, in Dundee, Scotland. They had seven children, three born in Scotland George, William and Mary after emigrating to Australia in 1885 Elizabeth, JANE, Helen and Lindsay were born. Early in the 1900s they emigrated to South Africa.

There Jane met Oscar and they married in 1913. Their four children Oscar, Betty, Jack and Lucy lived in South Africa three of them raising families there. Betty took vows and became a Sister in the Community of St Michael and All Angels, in Bloemfontein.

I am especially interested in tracing the decendants of John William and Lucy Pemberton as I have been unable to trace their children's names and dates of birth.

Any information would be appreciated and I should willing share what I have.
