I am researching both the Jacob Oakleaf Family and the Frank Sopko Family.

Jacob Oakleaf was the son of John Nicholas and Jacobina Zimmer Eichenlaub who came to America from Germany in 1836 and settled in the Newcomerstown, Ohio area. Other family names include Saunders,Saurs,Leckrone,Hanners,Webb, and Arthurs.

Frank Sopko arrived in America with two brothers. They came from Czeckoslavakia. Frank returned to Czeckoslvakia for Anna Maytash, whom he married and brought to America. Their eldest son, Michael Jerome Sopko was my grandfather. My father, Michael Jerome Sopko, Jr. died in 1964. I am also looking for information on my grandmother's family, Salko or Sulka, who came from Bialka, Poland.

Finally, I am looking for information on the King family of Worcester, Mass. John Harrison King was my grandfather and his wife was Margaret Bowes. John King,s grandfather was Peter King (or LeRoi. The family was French and settled in the Vermont and Canada area.

Any information would be appreciated. I am willing to share information.
