From the Baden, Germany Emigration Index, 1866-1911:

Theodor Otteni emigrated from Urloffen, Offenburg, Baden (Germany) to the United States in 1866 with two other people. It is assumed that was his wife, Theresia and his son, Anton Otteni. According to the obituary of his Son, Anton, the family moved to America in September 1868 when Anton was 3 months old.

According to the same source, Theodor's brother, Bernhard Otteni, and his sister, Louisa (listed as Ludovika), came to the United States in 1868. The discrepancy is most likely a misprint as to the year Theodor migrated. More than likely, all five Otteni family members came to the United States at the same time. Bernhard Otteni shows a home town of Nussbach, Oberkirch, Baden (Germany).
