Descendants of Kilian Obernesser

Are all Obernessers related to Kilian Obernesser (1680-1737) of Schleithal in Alsace? Those that I have contacted and who can trace their ancestry back as far as the mid-late 1800's are. But there are still many that are not yet on this tree - in the U.S., south of France, parts of Germany and Austria. The trees at this site show up to six generations of Kilian's descendants - information including births up to around 1860 comes primarily from LDS microfilm. For lines that continue after 1860, the information comes from personal contact with European Obernessers and research into those who came to North America and contact with their descendants. Can you find your ancestor on one of these trees?
