Orville Griffith was born January 31, 1829 in Jasper Co., Missouri. He was the son of Joseph Robinson Griffith and Caroline Melinda Guthrie. He married Rachel Finley Bartlett on January 31, 1850. Orville Griffith died on April 25, 1875 in Jasper County, Missouri.
