Ancestors of Elsie Fay Griffith
Ancestors of Elsie Fay GriffithUpdated March 31, 2001
I am researching the Mulhall, Griffith, Stout, Bartlett, Herrick and Guthrie families. The Griffith families lived in Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma from the early 1800s to late 1900s.The Stout family lived in Washington County, Arkansas in the early 1800s and later moved to Oklahoma. I also have information on the Bartlett and Herrick families dating back to the 1600s in England. Most of the information contained herein was compiled by my grandmother, Elsie Fay Griffith, of Harrison, Arkansas. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and prepared much of her family tree information using the Griffith/Stout family bible. * * * * * * * * * * I am also searching for information on the Mulhall, Schwarting, Hillinger, Obereiner, and Muschkat familylines. The Irish Mulhalls in this lineage first arrived in this country in the late 1800s or early 1900s.The Obereiner family came to the United States from Prussia (Germany/Poland) in the early 1900s.The Muschkat familymembers I am searching for also immigrated to America during the early 1900s.The Schwarting lineage dates back to the 1400s in Germany. The Breffle and Norwegean Piltingstrud family lines will eventually be added in detail to this tree. By publishing this information I hope to further verify the information contained herein and add missing links in my family's lineage.
