Please join me in researching the Nebraska Obermiller heritage! I am a descendent of Henry Obermiller of Schleiswig/Holstein, Germany. One of his seven children (Anna, Mary, Henry, Hans, Claus, John, George) was my great-grandfather, John Obermiller. John emmigrated to the U.S. in 1868 and settled in Howard County, Nebraska, where he farmed. His brothers and sisters followed and settled in such towns as Farwell and Grand Island, Nebraska.
