The Claxton Family

This is the family research page for the Claxton family of Long Island New York. Our small family originated from George Claxton who immigrated to the U.S. with wife Katherine (Kitty) McVittie, and sons Geoffrey and Gordon in 1933. This family immigrated from Hull UK and also had lived in Wallasey near Liverpool. Geoffrey Claxton is the father of Carol Ann Claxton-Oborski (originator of this page)who is interested in finding George's relatives where ever they may be. Unfortunately we don't know where George was born in the UK but Geoffrey was born in Wallasey and moved to Hull living there until he was 14.
