      Austin Joseph O'Boyle moved to Sherbrooke, Quebec and became the first linotype operator for the Sherbrooke Daily Record. He married a French-Canadian woman named Marie-Louise Coulombe. They had six children: Gertrude, William, Gregory Walter, Kerwin, Helen and Monica.

He married CATHERINE TERESA O'DONNELL, daughter of MICHEAL O'DONNELL and MARY MELLET. She was born 1868 in Brechin, Ontario, and died August 30, 1922 in 146 DeGrassie St., Toronto, Ontario.

      AUSTIN MARRIED KATE, THEY HAD 10 CHILDREN, 2 BOYS AND 8 GIRLS HIS WIFE DIED WHEN AUSTIN WAS IN HIS FIFTIES. HE NEVER REMARRIED. HIS DAUGHTER CECILE DIED IN HER LATE TEENS, JACK MCLEAN ,(HUGH'S SON) NAMED HIS FIRST CHILD CECILE AFTER AUSTIN'S DECEASED DAUGHTER. AUSTIN SPENT SOME TIME WITH HUGH AND FLORENCE AND BUILT A PORCH ON THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE , TO PASS THE TIME.

ATHERINE TERESA O'DONNELL:


      The death of Mrs. Austin J. O'Boyle ocurred at her home, 146 De Grassie St., Toronto yesterday following an operation the day previous. Mrs. O'Boyle was born at Brechin, being the second daughter of Mr. Micheal O'Donnell of Orilla. She was married 33 years ago, and lived in Brechin until about 15 years ago when she moved to Toronto. She is survived by her husband and seven children, Mrs. Mary Malatesta,San Fransisco, Calif., Mr. Eugene O'Boyle, Niagra Falls, Ontario., and Genevieve, Frances, Helen, Celia and Fred at home. She also leaves her father and seven brothers and sisters, Msessrs. P.J. O'Donnell, Edward, William, and Fred of Portland, Oregon., Mrs. Jos.D. Brady, Brechin; Miss Clara O'Donnell, RN at Mayo Bros. Hospital in Rochester, Minn., and Mrs Geo. Overend, Orilla. Mr. O'Donnell and Mr. and Mrs. Overend have gone to Toronto today and will attend the funeral there.

                        Cartwright ----- O'Boyle


            A very quiet but pretty wedding took place at St. Ann's church when Helen Teress, daughter of A.J. and the late Mrs O'Boyle was married to Mr. John Cartwright. Rev Father Carberry, P.P. officiated. Miss Frances O'Boyle, sister of the bride, and Mr. Joseph Parent were the attendants. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of Conard cut velvet with a black hat and carried Ophelia roses. The bridesmaid wore rose taffeta with hat to match and carried Columbian roses. After the ceremony the wedding party returned to the home of the bride where the breakfast was catered by Coles. Numerous telegrams of good wishes were received from the brides friends, Mrs. J.D. Brady of Brechin was the only outside guest. After a short honeymoon the happy couple will reside on Broadview Ave.

MARY ELLEN WAS BORN IN 1867 AND DIED OCTOBER 13, 1960 AT THE AGE OF 93. SHE WAS A FULL SISTER OF AUSTIN. DAUGHTER OF MARIA MCNENLY AND OWEN BOYLE. SHE MARRIED PATRICK BOYLE AND THEY LIVED IN MIDLAND. PATRICK DIED IN HIS FORTIES WITH APPENDICITIS, MARY ELLEN NEVER REMARRIED, THEY HAD SEVEN OR EIGHT CHILDREN.
