Notes for John Joseph Cullen: John arrived USA at Ellis Island 22 July 1906 on board the SS Caledonia from Londonderry Ireland. He had been living in Belfast, Ireland. He came to the USA earlier than his family. He stayed with his sister Mrs Cecelia McKeown at 201 East 88th St, NYC. He then sent for his family and they arrived at Ellis Island 24 October 1906. The records at Ellis Island confirm that Bridget Agnes Cullen, age 36, born County Sligo, Ireland arrived on the SS Astoria on that date. With her were her two children; Patrick J. Cullen age 6, Mary Agnes Thomasina Cullen age 5 and their mother-in-law, Annie Cullen, a widow age 65. The family reunited and subsequently moved to Brighton, MA where they settled permanently. He died suddenly, at age 49, of a heart attack
