Katherine Ester O'Brien (daughter of John J. O'Brien and Celia Ann Finn) was born 04 April 1906 in Belmont, MA, and died 27 October 2000 in Titusville, FL.
Notes for Katherine Ester O'Brien: Katherine was the longest lived member of the family. She was the youngest child. Graduated from Belmont HS and attended Salem Normal School. Upon completion of her training in 1928, she begin substitute teaching in Cambridge and then began teaching at the Homer School, in Belmont, in 1930. She taught 2nd grade for two years and then the 4th grade for the next 34 years. She lived in Belmont all her life. In her 80's she spent the Winters with her nephew, Austin, in Florida. Owing to infirmity she lived with Austin all year when she was in her late 80's. After a hip replacement at age 90 she sold the home in Belmont and lived permanently in Titusville, FL until her death. Katherine never married. She lived 94 years 6 months and 23 days.
