Notes for John O'Brien: This John O'Brien is the son of Maurice (Morris) O'Brien and is first identified in the 1870 Census in Belmont. MA. Subsequent information was obtained from the Naturalization Records. It seems he and his cousin, John J. O'Brien the son of Timothy J. O'Brien, were Naturalized on the same day in the same court House in Boston. I am assuming that they all went through the process together and that it was a planned event. It is from that record that I learned the date of his family's immigration to the USA: 12 July 1864.
