Perkins--Miss Chloe Perkins of Hemlock died at St. Mary's hospital at 1:40 o'clock Sunday morning of kidney trouble. Deceased was born in Jefferson county, New York, in 1862. Her parents came to Richland township in 1867. Miss Perkins was highly respected by all who knew her. She leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel Perkins; three brothers, five sisters, George and Washington of Jackson, and Alfred of Richland township; Mrs. William Fovelle, Richland; Mrs. Peter Lunney, Richland; Mrs. James Chambers, Evart, Mich; Mrs. E. B. Warner, Hemlock; Mrs. Patrick Garvey, Hemlock. The funeral will probably be held from the M.E. church in Hemlock.
