Bessie Perkins (daughter of George Perkins and Emma McManemy) was born October 26, 1887 in Saginaw, (Saginaw County), Michigan, and died November 20, 1951 in Aberdeen, (GRays Harbor County), Washington. She married Scott R. Stevens.

BESSIE STEVENS, 64, DIES UNEXPECTEDLY
Mrs. Bessie Stevens, 64, resident of Aberdeen for most of her life, died unexpectedly yeaterday at her home, 212 E. Cedar Street. She was born at Saginaw, Michigan, and came to the Harbor, 61 years ago with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Perkins. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lee Percini, Aberdeen, and Mrs. Charles Karjala, Montesano; one son Scott Stevens of Hood River, Oregon; one brother, George Perkins, Seattle, and three grandchildren. Her husband [Scott] R. Stevens, died about 39 years ago. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon, at the Eldering Chapel, with the Rev. Roy Jenkins officiating. Rites will be concluded at Fern Hill Cemetery.
