July 4, 1897 Bryenton P.O., New Brunswick My Dear Brother Tom, Just a few lines wishing you joy with your little girl (Ellen). I suppose you feel quite responsible now that you are a papa. How is your wife how I would like to see you both. Whenever you can, I want you to get your pictures taken and send to me. I am sending you this little one I had taken last winter with my coat on. Just a remember you us. Well Tom, times are about as usual around here. There were town Camahans married last week, Maud to George Bell and Clare to Victor McKinley. There were about seventy invited and had a big time, lots of whiskey. We are all well here, the boys are working on the Jam. Well Tom this is Monday, I expect to be married on Wednesday if nothing happens. We are going to have dinner and drive up to his home. Lizzie and Pete are the other couple. I hope I will have a fine day and I want you to wish me all kinds of good luck. As I am in a hurry I will bid you good bye for this time. Write me soon. We will write later and tell you all the news. Once more Bye Bye, Your loving Sister, Katie
