The farthest ancestor I have located was Capitan Antonio Canamar Guerra born in 1602 in Mnts. Castilla, Spain. He married Catalina Vela. His son was Vizente Canamar Guerra born 1625 in Villa De Llanes, Burgos, Spain and married Leonor Morales in 1650. Vizente's son was Juan Canamar Guerra born 1668 in Sta. Ma. Lagos, Nuevo Galicia, Mexico and married Elena Montemayor Cavazos. Juan's son was Capitan Vicente Canamar Guerra born Aug. 2, 1705 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and married Micaela Geromina De La Garza Falcon.

I would like to trace this line back as far as possible.
I am also willing to share any information that I have.
