I am researching the John O'Connor family from County Sligo, Ireland who emigrated in 1812. There are four brothers and one sister who became a nun at Immaculate Heart of Mary Convent in Orleans County, New York. Loved to find out children of the brothers, Matthew settled in Vincennes, Indiana as a lawyer, Mark settled in Iowa working for Federal Land Grant office and William died in Pardeville, Wis in 1910
Since 1972, I have been on and off working on looking for my ancestors. I delayed too long and missed the people who knew the most. From the facts I have drawn and accumulated, I hope it may help anyone else and my help to add to mine. It is wonderful to have daughters who had to do family trees in school so I have had to do more work than I realized until I entered the data into the family tree maker. I hope it can help others on different branches.

Loved to plan a reunion this summer in Early August 2001 on the O'Connor homestead in Columbus.
