The Lyons and Fitzpatrick Family Tree

Updated October 27, 2008

This family tree includes members of the Lyons, Fitzpatrick, O'Connor, Hogan, Dooley, Moss and Finn families originating in Ireland and settling in and around the New York City area. The tree includes approximately 270 surnames and 750 individuals.

I am researching:
- Michael Lyons' ancestors. Michael, son of Michael and Bridget, and his wife Ann Donohue (Donohoe) arrived in the United States and settled in Providence, Rhode Island about 1850. They had nine children. Michael and three children died in RI and Ann and six children moved to New York City about 1890. I would like to know into what US port Michael and Ann sailed and from what county in Ireland they originated.

- The Finn, Fitzpatrick, Dooley and Moss families from Newfoundland. Their ancestors arrived in Newfoundland from Ireland about 1780 - 1830.

- The O'Connors from Kanturk and Fremont County Cork.
