Like most of us I am a novice at family research. I am researching the O'Connor family from the Baltimore, MD area but there is a link to New Haven, CT. through a yet to be found sister of Michael O'Connor from approx. 1865. Other surnames associated with the family so far are: Kohler, Adams, Bauer, Blessing, Zochelein, McCullough, Volrath, White, and Frank. My research so far indicates that most of these individuals emigrated to the U.S. around 1850-1860 from Ireland and Germany. Any information would be appreciated and I am willing to share my research. |
