The Boon/Lowry Family Home Page

Updated September 6, 2000

I am researching the family of William Thomas (Lefete) Boon and Ether Lowry. William Thomas (Lefete) Boon was born around 1863 in Mississippi or Arkansas (census records show both states). He married Ether Lowry Brock Champlain in Red River Co. TX in April 1900. They had the following children: Rena Boon married Allen Franklin, Lucy Boon married James Samuel Arnett, Agnes Boon married Dennison Walker, William Thomas Boon married 1) Shula Mae Hill and 2) Leta Cohen Polston and Curtis Lee Boon married Willie Mae Lynn. William Lefete Boon had been married previously and had a son named Johnny who was born in Indian Territory in 1892-3. Ether had been married previously and had a daughter named Josephine Brock. Josie married a Joseph A. White in Red River Co. TX in 1908.
I am interested in information about William Thomas (Lefete) Boon's parents and siblings. I would also like to know who his first wife was (Johnny's mother) and if they had other children other than Johnny.

I have information about Ether's parents: Thomas Jefferson Lowry and Susan Jane__________. I would like to have Susan Jane's maiden name and parents names. Thomas Jefferson and Susan Jane had six children and I have the names of three: Milly, Ether and Robert Overd Lowry. I would like to get the names of the other three and the information on their families.

I would appreciate any information on these family members and I am willing to share what little I have.
