Arnott & Ameil Family Genealogy Project

To me, genealogy means continuing a family. The heritage of a family is it's most important gift. It is who we are, literally. Many people focus on material things, yet forget the most important part of family is who their ancestors are, what they did for this country, where they came from, and how that made us who we are.

My main hobby is genealogy. I am fascinated by where my roots began, where they traveled to, and where they are today. A complete family tree is the greatest gift I can pass onto my son. This way, our ancestors who got us where we are today, are not forgotten.

I am but a novice genealogist, frequently making mistakes and corrections. Please know, if you view this site, that not all my information may be 100% accurate. This is my work in progress, changing and evolving each day. I hope it is always a work in prograss, for I do not want it to end.
