The above TMRCA is the modal and my own str’s using the Mcgee utility. However, these numbers were based on all the Cruciani V12 data. I am not displaying the entire matrix at this time. However, the oldest date in the matrix is 15.2ky which represents Cruciani’s ASD (Population Age for v12+). Below are the populations represented in the Mcgee matrix.

TMRCA for Mystr’s: The Numbers below represent how many years to a common ancestor.

I am now going to assume my TMRCA ancestor data is correct. This is a big assumption on my part and takes a leap of faith based on current knowledge of mutation rates and Cruciani’s data. I will look at this data from a migration path and from an historical standpoint.

7950-4890 All  V12’s show presence in Egypt (5950b.c. to 2890b.c.)

3810 The first appearance of V12 outside Egypt in the French Basque area. This time frame puts it at about 1800b.c. Historically what is occurring in history in 1800B.C. between Egypt and Iberia. In Egypt this is the rule of the 12th dynasty under Senusret II. Finding Nubia had grown restive under the previous rulers, Senusret sent punitive expeditions into that land; he also sent an expedition into the Levant. These military campaigns gave birth to a legend of a mighty warrior named Sesostris, a story retold by Manetho, Herodotus, and Diodorus Siculus. This conqueror not only subdued the lands as had Senusret III, but also conquered Asia and had crossed over into Europe to annex Thrace.

2940 The first appearance of V12 in Sardinia in 940b.c. Beginning around 1000 BC, Phoenician mariners established several ports of trade on the Sardinian coast.

2160 The first appearance of V12 in Bulgaria 160b.c. In 188 BC, the Romans invaded Thrace and the wars with them continued to 45 CE, when Thrace became a Roman province.

1470 The appearance of V12 in the French, Moroccan Jews, Erzurum Turkish 530a.d. In Turkey Justinian is one of the most historically significant rulers of Late Antiquity. Constituting a distinct epoch in the history of the Byzantine Empire, the impact of his administration extended far beyond the boundaries of his time period and of his empire. Justinian's reign is marked by the ambitious, but ultimately unrealistic project of renovatio imperii, a "restoration of the empire".[1] This ambition was expressed in the partial recovery of the territories of the Western Roman Empire, including the city of Rome itself. In France, The Franks were the first tribe among the Germanic conquerors of Europe after the fall of the Roman Empire to convert to Catholic Christianity rather than Arianism (their King Clovis did so in 498); thus France obtained the title "Eldest daughter of the Church" (La fille ainée de l'Église), and the French would adopt this as justification for calling themselves "the Most Christian Kingdom of France". In Morroco In the fifth century, as the Roman Empire declined, the region fell to the Vandals, Visigoths, and then Byzantine Greeks in rapid succession. During this time, however, the high mountains of most of modern Morocco remained unsubdued, and stayed in the hands of their Berber inhabitants.

870  Finally the appearance of V12 in Southern Italians, Sicilians, Greeks from Creek, Marrakech Berbers 1130a.d. I will address the Berbers first. Almoravides  was a Berber [1] dynasty from the Sahara that spread over a wide area of North-Western Africa and the Iberian peninsula during the 11th century. Under this dynasty the Moorish empire was extended over present-day Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania, Gibraltar, Tlemcen (in Algeria) and a great part of what is now Senegal and Mali in the south, and Spain and Portugal to the north in Europe. In regards to the southern Italians, Sicilians, and Greeks from Creek In 1073 it fell to the Norman countship of Apulia, but was granted many rights. A prey to the Normans who encamped in the south of Italy, it became one of their principal posts. However, in 1131, it was reduced by King Roger II of Sicily, who had been refused the keys to its citadel. The Holy Roman Emperor Lothair, fighting in favour of Pope Innocent II against King Roger of Sicily, who sided with the Antipope Anacletus, took him prisoner in 1133, assisted by forty-six Pisan ships. The city was sacked and Lothair claimed as part of the booty a copy of the Pandects of Justinian which was found there.

Conclusion:

If I had to guess how my ancestors got to Ireland based on the historical time frames, I would still have to go with the Roman theory. At this point in time this seems most plausable to me. My residual haplotype seems to occur with greatest frequency in Sicily, and southern Italy areas. There are certainly other ways of getting to Ireland based on the above historical moments for those times. But to me at this point in time without further evidence, I believe the Roman theory is the best fit.
