| We are a very old Nottinghamshire family dating back to 1619 (so far). The descendants of the same are currently spread worlwide but many - including ourselves still remain in the same village of Selston. So far, our researches have found out that our family names include: - Bark - Green - Leivers - Brown - Coleman - Woodhead - Waters - Holmes - Starr - Hutchinson - Hoskinson - Dexter - Maltby - Wardle - Bruce - Dent - Hutton - Knight - Lowndes/Lounds The majority of these are from the Selston area, although there are a few 'foreigners' in there from 'Leicester', 'Staffordshire' and' 'Warwickshire'. |
