The search for relatives of the Capens who made their new homes in America from the 1600's to the present is ever more exciting as I discover some of my relatives, but the interesting stories found in letters and writings as they struggled to build their future are too precious to be left behind. As this venture continues, most of the family names involved are listed here:CAPEN, CROWELL, MUNFORD, MARTIN, FELTER, FITZPATRICK, RUNYON, FEIGER, STONE.Most of these families settled in New Jersey and NewYork, although the first Capens setlled in Massachusetts.I would be glad to share information with others researching these same names.
