The O'Donnells; Harold Grant Jr.,famous for the Reddie Rooster of Stamford,CT., Harold Sr.a poetFamous for a Winston Churchill Tribute poem placed in the archives,owned a nursery in Cos Cob,Ct, Lewis, inventor of the piggy-back trailer for the railroad, chief engineer of the Cos Cob powerplant,named after Lewis of Lewis and Clark, mother was Mary Clarke,father was Partick Henry (Henry?)O'Donnell.Lived in Ironton ,Ohio and Kentucky during the 1860-70's?Born 1831 in (Ireland?) Supposed to have fought under Grant during CivilWar.Mary is rumored to be related to Merriwether. The trail ends here.Other family names; Daulton,Egan, Mothers side; Jones,Prince,Taylor,Raymond. Any data?? I am glad to help locate O'Donnells in Ireland as I am going over soon.
