4. CLEMON COGDILL3 FRASER (THOMAS JEFFERSON2, MORDECAI1) was born June 09, 1847 in Marion County, South Carolina, and died October 08, 1930 in Hawthorne, Florida. He married BETTY FRASER March 28, 1869, daughter of LEWIS FRASER and LATILLA CAULK. She was born July 10, 1856 in Marlboro County, South Carolina, and died December 19, 1925 in Hawthorne, Florida.

LEMON COGDILL FRASER:
Clemmon Cogdill Fraser served in Company H, First Regiment, First Florida Engineer Corps in the Civil War for the Confederacy. The Engineer Corps duties were to build underground tunnels, make "covered way forts', and keep up pontoon bridges in the war. He enlisted in March, 1864 at Madison, Florida. He served under Captain John Bradford who was commanded by Colonel Blackburn, Army of Northern Virginia. He also served as a member of Stonewall Jackson's camp. Later in life, he was a justice of the peace in Hawthorne, Florida.
