Find Family

I began researching my family's history when, in 1992, while I was donating a kidney to my sister, a doctor at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, told me that my mother and father had a common relative somewhere in their history. After some time, I found this person eight generations back. I am having a good time digging through the musty and brittle pages of courthouse records, libraries, and state archives. I've met some wonderful, interesting, and generous people in my travels to Kentucky, North Carolina, Virginia, and Ireland. I'm looking forward to pilgrimages to Tennessee and New Jersey in the coming summers.

I hope you find one or two people in my family website that will help you with your own. I DO offer the disclaimer that this is the truth as I know it RIGHT NOW. And I keep ALL NAMES until I can prove that they are wrong. I've been surprised in the past to find that "legendary" people were, in fact, the right people.
