My ancestors are mainly found in Akershus and Oestfold (Østfold) counties of Norway, but I also have ancestors in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany and Firenze(Florence),Italy and other countries. There are a few connections back to the old Viking Kings (and even further) through the Botner noble family. This line is not agnatic , going through a few female links, but is one of the least controversial and mostly accepted by researchers (as opposed to the uncorrect royal lineage claimed through the Bratt and Asdahl families). I have chosen to stop on the assumed borderline between mythology and reality..., I hope, but many links earlier than 1100 AC may be subject to discussion... I am looking for and greatful for information about: Ancestors in Florence, Italy: Francisco born about 1480-1490, married to Lucretia(?), family of merchants(?) parents possibly closely connected to Savanorola (?) Wolf- family:Jacob Wolf, born Schleswig abt. 1490: Help requested sorting out ancestors in Schleswig-area, Germany. Finnish Ancestors:Parents of Sigfrid Persen, born 1594, Brunskog, Sweden, son of "Svedjefinner" who migrated from Savolax, Finland to Brunskog, Sweden and later to S.Mangen, Norway |
