I have had such an overwhelming response for a copy of my research that I decided it was time for a website.

I'm always so excited to meet my extended family so if you find a link please be sure to let me know. So far I have been in contact with two cousins from my ESTES/BANDY side and one from my PALMER side.

SOUND FAMILIAR?? Family legend has it that three Palmer brothers came from England. Two went to New York and the third settled in Charleston, South Carolina. The legend further states that these brothers were the illegitimate sons of Barbara Villiers Palmer and Charles II of England.

SOME SAY...The third brother was a soldier and belonged to Light Horse Harry Lee's Company. He was captured by the British at Ramscur's. He died in Smith county or near Tucker's Crossroads 8 miles east of Lebenon.

The information contained in these pages has been derrived from my family bible, history, stories passed from generation to generation, census records, vital records, sharing with other researchers such as yourself and many many hours of internet and library research. If you feel that I have erred in any way please e-mail me with the correct information as well as your source and I will post any/all correction.

I hope you find what your looking for! Enjoy!

This is my maternal grandfathers line. Interesting note: My mothers line of Wandless and my husbands line of Wandless are one and the same. We've been married almost 10 years and just found the connection earlier this year. And to make it a little more interesting...my husband was adopted into this family as an infant - yet our daughter is still a blood relative to his parents and grandparents. Talk about twilight zone!
