ALOHA, I want to introduce myself to you. I am a serious genealogical researcher of mixed African American and Caucasion races. I started researching my family lines in 1982 and have worked at it consistently ever since. I became a member of the Hawaii County Genealogical Society in January 1993 and was very active for the first 10 years. During that time I served 3 years as Newsletter Editor, one year Publicity Chairperson, 1 year as Vice President and 3 years as President. I have now curtailed my activies with the local society and increased my research on the Internet, primarily through Ancestry.com., Genealogy.com., My Family.com and RootsWeb Review.
