MOST WANTED:

Parents of Jacob Marks, b. NJ 1783, d. Wayne County PA 1862

In 1811, Jacob Marks married Mary "Polly" Keesler, daughter of William B. Keesler and Elizabeth Boults. The Keeslers and the Markses settled near Damascus, Wayne County, PA, and family tradition has it that Jake's father "drove an ammunition cart" in the Revolution and that his name was Daniel. Have not been able to confirm either claim. Please contact me if you have any information about Jake and Polly's history.
